These are brand new amaretto creations that were requested a long, long time ago, so I finally made an attempt. I made my tried and true cream cake and soaked it in amaretto syrup filled with an amaretto cream and covered in a whipped chocolate amaretto frosting and topped with some freshly toasted almonds! I'm definitely going to double the amount of amaretto next time but it was still delicious.
I made lots of cupcakes too which are the same idea except the cake was sweeter with apples in it it and then I soaked the tops with the amaretto syrup and topped them using the choco-amaretto frosting!
Aparna!!!! your cakes are almost as amazing as you are!!!! mwah!!! it's ridiculous how fantastic they look :D
