Ionic Ivory Guava





















This Guava cream cake was my first attempt to use guava marmalade instead of guava paste...it was pretty soupy but after I froze it it was great as a filling.

I also brushed it all over the cake to soak in :)

I used a different proportion of butter and cream cheese for the frosting so it held up awesome for the decorations.

I like the look of the curlies on top and on the bottom perimeter of the cake and thus ionic ivory was born :)
